HEADWAY SOUTH CUMBRIA
Come and join us!
Due to the Coronavirus situation we are not having face to face meetings at present. However, we are continuing to have online meetings via Zoom. If you would like to join our friendly and chatty group, then just drop us a line using our contact form and we can help you join our Facebook group to join our meetings.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We are the branch of Headway - the brain injury association - covering South Cumbria, an area that stretches from Shap and Appleby in the east of the county through to Kendal and Barrow In Furness in the South. We support over 50 families whose lives have been affected by acquired brain injury, offering information, support, events, activities and opportunities locally.
Due to the current Covid circumstances, we have been meeting weekly online via Zoom since April last year, and will continue this way until it is safe to restart face to face meetings. Individual advice is available for those who need it and new members are still able to join. Referrals on discharge still take place.
