Fundraising for Headway

We can't do what we do without the kind and dedicated support of our fundraisers' activities. These range from coffee mornings, cake stalls, craft stalls and open gardens. Many of our products are made by our members or their families. We have many talented crafters, bakers, potters, artists and gardeners in our midst and you can find us regularly at Staveley Village Fayre in July.

We are very fortunate to have the support of: 

  • Sedbergh URC (Church) coffee morning

  • Staveley Village Hall coffee morning

  • Roz and Rachel “Open Garden” and the sale of jewellery made by Roz.

  • Kelsey R, at BAE Systems Submarines for recommending us to the Give as You Earn Fund

  • Funding via Hackney and Leigh to help members access the Sandgate Hydrotherapy pool

  • Michael and his partner, Carla, held a raffle to mark the opening of ETL Fitness, in Workington

  • BAE Systems in Barrow for their continued support and to the organisers of the Keswick to Barrow run

  • Christine and Chris's raffle at the A590 Theatre Group, Barrow.

  • Anne's organisation of the stalls at the Maulds Meaburn Christmas Fayre 

  • Kendal Parish Church Christmas Tree Fayre​

  • Windermere Rotary Club have kindly given us £1,000 from a concert evening they held

We are always looking for willing volunteers and donations to keep our services going. If you feel you are able to help by giving funds or time, please contact us. We are always open to any ideas especially if they are wacky and fun.
