Our Trips
Life doesn't stop after you have a head injury: but it will be different to what you were used to. Sometimes you can find that it opens up opportunities, friendships and things to enjoy that you wouldn't have looked at doing before. We've had great fun and really expanded our horizons with the brilliant trips we go on each year. Many of these are funded by local organisations and our fundraising activities. Come along and join us to find new friends and support for all of your family.
In addition to our social meetings held at Castle Street, Kendal where we can do crafts and activities, in the last year we have also enjoyed:
A presentation from our patron Simon Yates.
Coffee and cakes at Staveley Village Hall
A presentation from Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist Professor Gus Baker
Lunch out at Terrazzo in Kendal
A Shopping Trip to Grenta Green outlet Village
A day out in Skipton
A day out at Muncaster Castle
Our (in)famous Christmas party
A day out at the Lakeland Motor Museum.
A Music and rhythm therapy taster session from Sheila Stafford
Each year our activities are planned by our own members so we ensure that we do what we are interested in and ensure we have things on the agenda that everyone can enjoy.
